All facilities

• Melting & Refinining Shop

  Avtar is one of India’s most advanced stainless-steel mills, specializing in precise small-heat melting (20–25 tons) with strict quality control and an annual melt capacity of 72,000 MT of specialty stainless steel.

  

• Hot Rolling Mills

  Our continuous cast billets are hot-rolled into the required shapes at our rolling mills. We produce round, hex, square, angle, and flat bars across a wide size range using three rolling mills, with a combined annual capacity of 80,000 tons.

  

• Heat Treatment

  Heat treatment is the most critical stage in steelmaking. Our advanced furnaces ensure the required mechanical properties in hot-rolled bars. We offer solution-annealed austenitic grades, and annealed, quenched, and tempered martensitic and ferritic grades.

  

• Cold Finishing

  Avtar’s cold finishing unit is one of the most advanced in India, with a monthly capacity of 2,000 tons of bars and profiles. Our modern bright bar shop delivers superior finish and tight tolerances as per customer requirements. Our unit is equipped with the following machines:

  

• Testing Facility

  Quality is the backbone of our business. With 39 years of customer trust, we ensure consistent and continually improving standards. Our bars serve critical sectors like oil & gas and automotive, making material reliability our top priority.

  

• Packaging Facility

  We ensure our quality reaches customers intact through careful packaging that prevents damage and rust during transit. Our materials are fully protected for safe transportation by both sea and road.
